Founded as the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese in 1887 with just a handful of students, The University of Hong Kong’s LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) now stands in the top 20 medical schools globally. As we enter our 135^th anniversary year, we are taking a moment to celebrate the tenacious spirit that has carried us from our humble beginnings to our current international standing and will continue to support us as we embark on an ambitious expansion plan.
